Traditional African Braiders Academy

Teaches self cultural identity, helps children with their dexterity, teaches about the different tribes, so that the learners can connect back to culture and art. It is also an entrepreneurial endeavor — for those who finish the Traditional African Braider’s Academy who are skilled enough can now make sure that they can braid other people’s hair. This helps with identity, self-esteem in school, as well as bring in income for those who are talented enough to expand into their own entrepreneurial braiding pursuits.
